The
Vanadium (V) Pellets boast properties synonymous with their source material. Vanadium, denoted by the symbol V and atomic number 23, is a robust, silvery-grey, ductile, and malleable transition metal. Though rarely occurring naturally in its elemental form, once isolated, it develops an oxide layer (passivation) that stabilizes it against further oxidation. Vanadium is electrically conductive, thermally insulating, and exhibits superior hardness compared to most metals and steel. Its excellent corrosion resistance makes it stable against alkalis and both sulfuric and hydrochloric acids. It begins to oxidize in air at approximately 933 K (660 °C, 1220 °F), but an oxide passivation layer can form even at room temperature to offer additional protection.
