Description:
TiN powder exhibits a fascinating spectrum of colors: yellowish-brown for the standard powder, black for the ultrafine variant, and a dazzling golden yellow for its crystalline form. With an exceptionally high melting point of 2950°C, a density of 5.43-5.44 g/cm³, and a robust Mohs hardness of 8-9, TiN stands out for its superior thermal shock resistance. Notably, TiN's melting point surpasses that of most transition metal nitrides, while its density remains lower than that of most metal nitrides, positioning it as a distinctive and highly resilient heat-resistant material.
