The
Vanadium (V) Pellets exhibit remarkable characteristics attributed to the element Vanadium itself. Vanadium, symbolized as V with atomic number 23, is a hard, silvery-grey, ductile, and malleable transition metal. Although rarely found naturally, when artificially isolated, Vanadium forms an oxide layer (passivation) that stabilizes it against further oxidation. This element stands out due to its superior hardness compared to most metals and steel, notable electrical conductivity, and thermal insulation properties. It resists corrosion and remains stable against alkalis and sulfuric and hydrochloric acids. Notably, Vanadium oxidizes in air at approximately 933 K (660 °C, 1220 °F), but even at room temperature, it forms a protective oxide passivation layer.
