Description:
TiN powder exhibits a spectrum of appearances: yellowish-brown in typical form, black as ultrafine powder, and golden yellow as crystals. It stands out with a melting point of 2950°C and a density of 5.43-5.44g/cm³. Its Mohs hardness rating of 8-9 and exceptional thermal shock resistance elevate its status. TiN's melting point surpasses most transition metal nitrides, while its lower density compared to most metal nitrides underscores its uniqueness as a heat-resistant material.
