Product Details: Boron Relative Density: 2.350. Melting Point: 2300ºC. Boiling Point: 3658ºC. At ambient temperature, it is a weak conductor, yet it excels in electrical conductivity at elevated temperatures. A trace admixture of carbon can significantly enhance its conductivity. When exposed to air, it forms a protective diboron trioxide film. However, at temperatures above 1000ºC, this oxide layer evaporates.
