Description:
Tantalum pentoxide (TA2O5) is a white colorless crystalline powder. It is the most common oxide of tantalum and the final product of its combustion in air. It is mainly used for lithium tantalate single crystal and special optical glass with high refraction and low dispersion. It can be used as catalyst in chemical industry.

Application:
1. Used as an analytical reagent, such as a reducing agent, for the determination of copper, nitrate, etc.
2. It can be used as a reducing agent together with acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, alkali, water (including ammonium chloride), etc. Zinc powder distillation. Preparation of organozinc compounds. Reformatsky reacted. From benzaldehyde to phenylcarbene, etc.
3. Used as catalyst, reducing agent, used in organic synthesis, also used in electro-galvanizing and preparation of non-ferrous metal alloys.
