Titanium-aluminum alloys are indispensable in the vacuum coating industry. When selecting vacuum coating targets, the titanium-aluminum alloys offer diverse composition ratios. The frequently utilized atomic ratios (at%) for titanium-aluminum are 90:10, 80:20, 70:30, 50:50, 30:70, 20:80, and 10:90. Alloys with a titanium atomic content of 50% or more can be produced via vacuum casting. As the aluminum content rises and titanium content decreases, production shifts to powder metallurgy to meet target material specifications. Alloys with titanium atoms at 80% or higher can also undergo forging and rolling processes.
